Frequently Asked Questions

Where are therapy sessions conducted?

Currently Speech in Bloom is providing tele-health services, which are provided via a HIPAA compliant platform. If you live in the greater Baltimore area and are interested in home visits, please mention that when you contact us, as we may be able to accommodate.

My child didn’t qualify for speech services in the school system. Are they still able to get services?

Yes. In short, speech services in the school systems are reserved for students whose speech and/or language delay or disorder directly impacts their academic performance. As a private practice company, Speech In Bloom is not bound by the same guidelines as the school systems. Caregivers are the experts on their children; if you feel that your child would benefit from therapy, they may qualify for speech services at Speech In Bloom.

Does Speech In Bloom accept insurance?

Not at this time. Private pay is accepted, and we are able to provide a “super bill” to be submitted to your insurance company at your request. We value transparency and access to service for all. Visit the SERVICES page to see costs for services we offer.
