Services
We provide screenings, evaluations, and therapy services to support a wide range of speech and language needs.
In addition to general speech-language support, clinical expertise includes working with autistic children, AAC users, and gestalt language processors.
Services are provided with an understanding of dialectical and cultural linguistic differences, with care taken to distinguish difference from disorder in assessment and intervention.
All services are delivered using play-based, child-led approaches that support meaningful, functional communication.
Screenings
A brief screening to help determine if further evaluation or support may be needed.
Evaluations
Comprehensive assessments to better understand your child’s communication strengths and needs, including speech, language, and social communication.
Treatment
Individualized, play-based therapy designed to support meaningful communication across a range of needs.
-
A brief, targeted screening that provides an overview of your child’s strengths and areas of need based on your specific concerns. Areas may include articulation, receptive and/or expressive language, fluency, and/or social communication.
Next steps may include:
Recommendation for a full evaluation
Re-screening in six months
No further action at this time
Private Pay Cost: $50
If a full speech-language assessment is recommended, the cost of the screening will be applied toward the evaluation fee.
Screenings are not billed to insurance (including Aetna).
-
Evaluations are tailored to your child’s needs and areas of concern and include a 10-minute consultation with caregiver(s) to review results and discuss recommendations.
60-minute Articulation or Fluency Evaluation - Private Pay Cost: $200
Assesses your child’s speech sound production (articulation) and/or fluency (e.g., stuttering) to determine clarity of speech and smoothness of speech flow.
60-minute Language-Only Evaluation - Private Pay Cost: $300
Assesses your child’s understanding and use of language in the following areas:
Receptive language (understanding language, such as following directions or answering questions)
Expressive language (using words to communicate thoughts, ideas, and needs)
Social/pragmatic language, if indicated (e.g., turn-taking, conversational skills, social use of language)
60-minute Comprehensive Evaluation - Private Pay Cost: $300
A comprehensive evaluation is recommended when concerns span multiple areas.
Combines assessment of speech (articulation and/or fluency) and language (receptive, expressive, and social communication) to provide a more complete understanding of your child’s communication profile.
Prior Evaluation Review and New Patient Set-Up - Private Pay Cost: $50
If your child has completed a formal speech-language evaluation within the past year (e.g., school or private practice), that report may be reviewed to inform treatment planning. This includes analysis of case history, strengths, and areas of need to support goal development.
-
Therapy is tailored to meet each child’s unique communication profile.
Services are individualized based on your child’s needs, with a focus on meaningful, functional communication in natural, play-based contexts.
For private pay clients, session rates begin at $80 per 30-minute session for tele-health or services within a 5-minute travel radius. Rates vary based on the level of clinical support required and travel distance.
Articulation-Only
For children working solely on sound production and speech clarity. These sessions focus on helping your child produce speech sounds more confidently and intelligibly through engaging, play-based activities.
Language or Language + Articulation
For children targeting expressive/receptive language skills, grammar, vocabulary, or sentence development—with or without articulation goals. Therapy may address following directions, forming longer utterances, answering questions, or using language for social connection. Fluency based services also fall in this category.
Specialized Intervention (GLP, AAC, or AAC + GLP)
For children who are gestalt language processors (GLP) or who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). These sessions involve highly individualized, evidence-based supports for natural language development, AAC programming/training, and caregiver collaboration.
